Welcome to MediClaim
We are a full-service billing application for MSP/WCB and ICBC, the first in Canada to offer a browser-based billing application for submitting claims from any computer or mobile device, anywhere, anytime. The application includes patient database lookup, quick add features for new patients, referral practitioner database tables, along with fee item/icd lookup tables. Accounts can be set up with location, fee code, and diagnostic code defaults to streamline the billing process. Patient profiles for billing can be added with just a PHN number and a date of birth, and MSP eligibility can be confirmed online.
Claims are submitted on a daily basis, and refusal reports are typically posted within 24 hours of submitting a claim. Rebilling tools are quick and easy to use, and we offer complete rebilling services for those who don’t have the time or inclination to look after it themselves. We also have billing agents to look after all your MSP claims if you choose not to do it yourself at any time.
For larger clinic accounts with multiple locations can be configured for your convenience. User accounts may also be configured for shadow billing or encounter records only.
What We Offer
MediClaim offers a full suite of financial and claim tracking reports. Daysheets can be organized by billing or by service dates, submission reports are available daily, and refusal reports are updated every few days. No more waiting for your bimonthly remittance reports, they are available the same day MSP issues them. Your payment advice report tells you exactly how much money you can expect in advance of each MSP payment date.
Most users are comfortable using the program after one hour of training with one of our support staff, and support is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. We charge a low monthly fixed fee for practitioners, making budgeting for your billing expenses easier and accurate (no surprises from one month to the next!). A new version of MediClaim will be released in the next few months, giving users the choice of which application works best for them.
